Question: Need help with facial expression!?
i cant figure out how to draw this right!.!.!. i want to draw a pic of a young woman gritting her teeth!.!.!. but every time i try it turns out looking like a smile or like she is creepy or something!. i need it to look like she is gritting her teeth in more of a mental pain!.
does anyone know how i can do this!?

Believe it or not, try looking at eyebrows!. When we are angry or making an effort, the center of the eyebrows go down!. When we are in pain or experiencing fear or stress, the outsides of the eyebrows go down!. Try doodling those, and you will see what I mean!.

Once that is established, try doodling a face with the outside of the eyebrows down, and with the lips open to reveal gritted teeth!. You don't grit your teeth unless you are making an effort or coping with stress, so the whole face, in fact the whole body, plays into it!.

Well, to draw expressions that you don't know by heart, look in a mirror and draw it immediately!. Then, draw the rest of the body, and BAM! Your done!Www@QuestionHome@Com
