Cool stuff!

My guess is that it's cast paper!. I've been toying with it myself!.

The Original is made from clay,, then a mold is made!. (I use plaster,, some use latex)

Then the boring time consuming part!.!. You shred paper into little tiny bits,, (I use water color paper) You then boil that paper for an hour or some and run it through a blender!.

Then press it into the mold,, a little bit at a time using a sponge to get as much water out of it as possible!.

I've been doing reliefs,,, They take about two weeks to dry completely and you need to put marbles on top of it while it dries so the paper does not curl!.

I don't know how to make a 3-D object from paper pulp, but I know it is possible!.

I used to have a friend who catlouged animal skeletons!. when he got bored with that, he took all his skeletons and made 'fantastical' animals out of them by mixing up the bones of several animals!. this looks really similar!. (you should see his dragons!. they're in Spiderman 3 if you want to see his dragons!. at least, one skull is!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
