Question: Hello, i have a fugifilm/finepix/A510!.!. and would like to know what is the correct way of putting the pictures!?
back on to the camera!.
I seem to get in a mess, i have managed to do it once but not sure if it was the right way, and was worried i might damage the xd picture card!.
here's what i have been doing, i copy the pictures to the computer, so there is still a copy on the camera, then say i edit one or two on the computer and then try to put them back on the camera, i will get a
"read error"
so i delete that of the camera, then turn the camera off, here's where i get a bit lost!.!.!.!.
I have been changing the folder name , and the file names and then transfering them back to the camera, this sometimes works, but not always, one or two will get a "read error"!.
Has all this got something to do with changing file names of the pictures!.!.and the folder the camera creates when you put them on your pc!.
If anyone can advise me of doing it the right way, it will stop my headaches!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.windows xp

Are you using your USB cable!?
If so, connect the camera to the computer!.!.
Open windows explorer and locate the file on your computer where the pictures are located!.!.
Select the photos you want to put back onto the camera, if selecting more than 1, hold down ctrl to select multiple images!.!.
Right click on your selected images and select "move to"!.!.
Move your images to your SD card on your camera (should be under "computer" -> "Finepix A510" -> "removable storage")

I simply copy them to a folder and delete them from camera when it's next full!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Why are you transfering them back to the camera!? Anyway you need to format the card and then resave them to the card!. I save pics on the sd and compact flash cards all the time when I need to make them portable to use on another computer!.!. however I have never tried to replay them on my camera!. After they are edited the camera may not be able to read themWww@QuestionHome@Com
