Question: Does anyone know about a famous black and white photographer!?

I would like someone who does scenerys or landscaping anything that has to do with nature!. It is for a presentation that I have to do for my photography class!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, Ansel Adams was a legendary black and white landscape photographer!. His pictures would completely blow you away!. But he's LONG gone :(

Try looking in photography magazines, especially ones that specialize in traditional black and white film photography like "Silvershotz" and "View Camera!." You should be able to find them in any decent book store!. They will often feature good black and white photographers (and some new ones who are already showing a lot of talent)!. Stay away from magazines like Popular Photography, because those are mostly just consumer magazines to show off digital cameras!.

also, you should look at the book "The History of Photography" by Beaumont Newhall!. You can find a lot of early photographers you can write about!. You should probably be able to find it in your local library!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
