Question: What settings should be used for photographing a dinner!?
I am going to attend a dinner and I want to take a few pictures!. Can someone give advice concerning flash usage (since the restaurant is slightly dark) and so on!?

Note:I am using a point and shoot so things like aperture/shutter speed priority is out of the question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A lot of point-and-shoots have really powerful flashes and will blow out your pictures!. You may want to experiment a bit in advance with putting a piece or two of "clear" tape over the flash to make it softer!. Tissue paper also works!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

as you will no doubt be having a drink! go for auto setting with red eye reduction!. you can always work on the photo on your pc afterwards if necessary!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

use your flash, fill the frame and get candids if you can more than cheesy poses,
