Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I think it's just on Yahoo Answers!. I'm a member of my local photographic society and the people there go out of their way to be nice and helpful!. I've never experienced the catty, immature BS that I have here!. Don't get me wrong, the people here on YA can be helpful, but the majority of the time it's just someone being nasty for no reason!. Don't let it bother you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Life is a competition sport!.!. and photography is very competitive if you want to do it professionally or if you want to compete at a local level!. I don't ever rub any ones nose in it that I am better than them and I try to be helpful to those wanting to learn!. I even try to be helpful on here, but sometimes it's hard!. Typing is a lot different than speaking and sometimes I guess something seems harsher than what I mean it to be, due to the way it is typed!. also, people on here post a lot of really bad pictures and they think they are the greatest pics ever and if you post otherwise they get upset although they asked for your honest opinion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Photography as a hobby isn't particularly competitive, though you can enter your photos in competitions if that's your thing!. Some people are just competitive about everything!.
