I do it on Adobe Photoshop!.
You'll probably have to go and buy the program, but you may be able to find it online to download!.

You can do it on www!.picnik!.com
Upload a picture, click on the tab called create, scroll down and click on Focal B&W!. Then drag & resize the circle for where you want it!.

Hope that helps! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

One basic technique is to start with a color picture and then create a selection around the object to stay colored!. Then invert the selection and remove the color from this inverse selection!.

This is a tutorial with example for Photoshop

Presuming the item you want to stick out is different from the others in terms of colour, let's say red, you desaturate all the other colour ranges except for reds!. If that doesn't satisfy you, you might want to narrow the range!. Of course, I am talking about the trusty old Photoshop!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you sign up for a photobucket account or already have one you are able to edit your pictures and making a picture black and white and leaving some spots color is an option!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I use Adobe Lightroom for this!. You play with the saturation brush tool, and paint everything at 0 saturation except for the feature you want in color!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I do it on Adobe Photo shopp!.
