How to remove mold from old slides.?

Question: How to remove mold from old slides!.!?

I inherited thousands of slides from my father!. They date back to the early 1950's!. Unfortunately, many of the older ones have mold on them!. I do not want to damage the slides so I am looking for a safe and effective way to remove the mold!. Thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would check with some photo equipment dealers in your area!. Not a k mart but someone who knows photography, or a photo lab ,Commercial type, who could assist!. I hate to recommend something Im not 100 percent sure of !.If the slaides mean a lot to you be careful and check first!.Dont use water, it will soften the emultion!.
