Question: How could i represent depression in art!?
for my art project i'm doing the subject of "depression" and basically, this is a major plea for help, suggestions and ideas as i am having a complete creative block and i really need help!.

how would you portray depression, how does it make you feel!?
what could i paint/draw/sculpt!?

Whenever I've had to do an art project on something I usually look at other artwork that have similar feelings or genre!.

Certain colors like black, blues, and other cool colors are usually good!. Drawing something that looks alone, not looking at others, not a part of the crowd!. Almost creating that distance, sorrow, loneliness, emptiness!. Sickness, homeless people, etc!.

I would definitely look at Picasso's blue period to find some examples!. "The Old Guitarist" is one of my favorites!.

There are many ways depression can be represented it's all about letting those creative juices flow!. :D Www@QuestionHome@Com

isolation
trapped
water/tears
jumbled subjects to represent confusion or overwhelming emotions
