Question: How do I change a bitmap image to jpeg!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Just use the 'Save As' option!. For a Jpeg it has to be in 8bit mode and have no layers then Jpeg will be an option in the drop down menu when you select 'Save As' whatever the program you are using is!.

An easy way is to rename the file to a jpg!.
When your about to save the picture(s), name them !.jpeg at the end!. Example: My Picture!.jpg!. If it still is a bitmap, you can do it like this: Move your picture(s) to your C drive!.Go to Start > Run > type: command (if you use Win9x) or type: cmd (if you use Win-NT)!.When the black box comes up, type: CD / and press enter once!.Then type: rename MyPicture!.bmp MyPicture!.jpg and press enter once!.
If you can't save files a JPG's(only Bitmap), first try emptying your Temporary Internet Files
Tools / Internet Options / Delete Files button

If that doesn't work, try clicking in the Settings button / View Objects button Remove any files that show as Damaged or Unknown Www@QuestionHome@Com
