Question: Please tell me what you think of my photography!.!?
I do mostly concert photography!. I know the pictures aren't the best, they could be better!. I am by no means a professional!. Tell me what you like or don't like about the picture, and what I can improve on!. I am always looking to improve!. I want to do the best I can do, and you can always get better!. also, what are some good colleges for photojournalism!? Would there be any chance of me getting in portfolio-wise!?

First photo: nice shot overall, except you need a higher shutter speed to freeze the movement!. And zoom out just a little bit so you're not cutting off his butt and part of the moving guitar!.

2nd photo: Nice, it looks like a portrait shot, but next time zoom out so you can include his whole arm!. (you're missing an elbow)!. And it could just be the lighting that was on stage, but the photo looks like the wrong white balance!.

3rd photo: I love this shot!. Overall pretty good!. Good lighting, good composition!. I would just add a little bit of the background next to his arm, maybe even include his hand/fingers!.

4th photo: I like it!. You capture the feeling everyone was having!.

5th photo: I also like this one!. Sometimes lights in the background like that ruin the photo!. But there are times they add to the photo!. This is one of those times!.

6th photo: Overall nice, just watch out for your cropping in!. This time you could have zoom out a bit to add his elbow and the other end of the guitar!.

Overall, not too bad!. Just watch out if your chopping any body part off!. It's not a bad thing to leave in some background, as long as you're able to tell who/what the subject is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I really like http://www!.flickr!.com/photos/ambeanerxco!.!.!. & http://www!.flickr!.com/photos/ambeanerxco!.!.!. With the first one, a soft-focus lens or filter may have enhanced it, but I'm not sure!. Anyway, a lot of your photos are too dark, and that's the only thing wrong with the majority!. In the one with the swinging guitar (is again dark), the guitar blends in too much with the wall!. I realise that can't be helped, but I'm just pointing it out!. I don't really look at too much concert photography, and these are all a hundred times better than what I've seen so far, so I can't give many pointers!. Sorry 'bout that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They're pretty good actually! For the first picture, unless that was the effect you wanted, a good digital camera with an anti-blur function would do the trick!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
