OKAY WELL IM ABOUT TO GET A TATTOO IT SAYING MY NAME ON MY HIP AND ITS GONNA BE REALLY PRETTY WELL WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO DO I LEAVE MY SHIRT UP AFTER I GET IT WHAT AM I SUPPOSED 2 PUT ON IT HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE SO I DON'T HAVE TO DO ANY THING TO IT!.!.!.!.THIS IS MY FIRST TATTOO DOES IT HURT!?!?!?!? Your tattoo artist will bandage it up so you won't need to worry about holding your shirt up or anything!. Bepanthen (nappy rash cream) is really good for aftercare, but your tattoo artist will tell you what he/she prefers!. also keep it out of the sun for awhile, If you do need (for whatever reason) to have it in the sun make sure you ALWAYS (for the rest of your life) put sunscreen on it (or the ink will fade really quickly) After you've got it done, and your home you will need to wash it with warm soapy water, pat dry with clean paper towel (make sure you don't you tat dirty) then apply the bepanthen (no more then twice a day)!. At first it will hurt, then after a few days it will get itchy, then it will scab (when it scabs be ultra careful because if they come off prematurely your tat fill have big dots of missing colour) then after awhile it will flake and then go to normal!. When it appears to be normal only then can you stop cleaning it everyday!. It is important to clean it properly otherwise it can become infected and noone wants an infected tattoo!. The tattoo artist will tell you about aftercare and most likely will put a piece of gauze over the tattoo to be left on for a day or so!. He may place a bandage over it just to keep the blood from oozing on your clothes!. Whether it hurts is up to you and your pain tolerance!.
