It's always nice to hear opinions and often somebody else will spot something I may have missed!. Any critique and comment appreciated!. http://www!.flickr!.com/photos/achtung-bar!.!.!. This photo was taken today on The Carton House Estate (a former estate of the Duke of Leinster) in Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland!. Very nice shot and I compliment you on it!. A criticism - you have blue clouds!. Oops a little heavy handed in photoshop!? Never seen blue clouds quite like those ones!. A suggestion - repeat the shot at sunrise or sunset (perhaps not possible) this would lighten the intense shadow under the trees!. also a longer exposure would calm the ripple on the water and enhance the reflection a little!. It may also mean you might not have to work as much on the brighter sky!. I don't mean to take away from the fact that it is a nice photo!. Hope you appreciate my candid honesty!. Great location!. teef_auWww@QuestionHome@Com it's a beautiful photo, congratulations!. one little thing though: i would've taken the photo from a different angle - more towards one of the focus points, so that the house and the bridge don't appear equal in size!. taking the shoot from a equidistant position creates two equal focus points (the house and the bridge), and automatically converts your wonderful tree into a secondary focus point!. (just my two cents!.!.!.) best luckWww@QuestionHome@Com pretty enough for a chocolate box!.!.!. but photographically boring!. what am i looking at!? a bridge, and house or the great open expanse between them!? sorry, but anyone could have taken this shot, even my 13yr old daughter!.!.!. it barely observes the rule of thirds!.!.!. and now ive upset you, ill explain a few things!. photographs need a focal point, that focal point needs to be on a line of convergance, (dont ask, it just does) theres 3 good images in this picture, the bridge, the tree and the house, we dont need to see them all at the same time!.!.!. its too much, too busy!.!. and the detail gets lost!.!.!. less is more!.!.!. and you coulod adjust the contrast/brightness and give it some punch!.!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com Honestly, the water reflection is a bit dizzy!.!.u must a little portion of it only and u must emphasize the house not the tree so u should be near the house but the colors are clear and beautiful!.!.
