Question: What are some good settings to have your camera on for professional looking photography pictures!?

P works for most things!. M works for everything, of course, but is often more work than you need to be doing!. Aperture priority is good for static subjects; shutter priority for action!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is no way to answer this question!. The correct settings for a professional looking image vary depending on what is in front of your camera!.

Are you shooting a city scene at night!? A sporting event!? A high key portrait session!? Candids of your friends and family!? The settings are specific to the exact situation!.

I shoot in full manual mode all the time!. I am always in control of every aspect of every shot!. The particulars of which ISO, white balance, aperture, shutter speed, and lens selection are choices that are made to account for the lighting and desired effect I am trying to achieve!. This is really a serious question!?

Do you really think the camera has a Pro Photography Setting!?

Would someone mind pointing it out to me!? That could really save me a lot of work deciding how to get the best composition and exposure!.

Learn how and when to use manual!. Don't be lazy and let the auto program do everything!.

And as already mentioned its not the camera that makes the photo but the photographer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Settings really do not make professional looking pictures!.

Any setting can make a pro picture if you keep light, composition, and subject in mind!. That is what counts!.

You create the pro shot not the camera!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That would be the setting that gives the proper exposure and proper focus!. mmmmm, P is for professional!? I have been going about this all wrong, and after all these years! Why didn't someone tell this before! ;-)Www@QuestionHome@Com
