Question: What would you think if you walked into a museum to look at sculptures and you saw!.!.!.!?

OK This is based on a personal experience i had today!. what would you do if you walked into a museum which had sculptures and the sculptures on display were things like cute little babies with bazookas strapped to there backs and pretty little girls with pink frilly dresses on holding Uzis with a look like there gonna open fire on people and things of that nature!. I saw this today in my neighborhood and all i could think was!.!.!. Wtf!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would think they are making a comment on how in some countries children participate actively in the horror of war!. We have seen pictures of young boys from the middle East holding semi-automatics and we have heard stories about teens and younger children being suicide bombers in those countries!. The artist might be trying to jar you, the viewer, by putting the images of children in a more North America romanticized context to make you say, WTF!? We should be saying that when we see the 'real' pictures!.!.!. but we do nothing!.!.!. the artist is trying to provoke!Www@QuestionHome@Com

you can think wtf, but it's art!. the thing about art is that not everyone is going to like it!. i just move on to the next exhibit!. you never know--the person next to you may think it's a masterpiece!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
