i need some help!.
i have to enter an artwork in an art show, and was wondering how to make a pic like this:
http://tinypic!.com/8yfdbs!.jpgok, so i wanted to make a pic of me like the one above, except more than just two!. if u use photoshop, plz explain what to do!. i wanted to put 11 pics of me standing up, with a plain gray background!. all of the pics will be different, going in this order from left to right: gangster me, nerd me, popular me, hippie me, formal me, normal me, gold digger me, italian me, mexican me, japanese me, and old person me!. I am not racist!! i just wanted to make a cool pic!. plz also tell how to make it look clean, so it looks as if there really were eleven of me!. the way i would do it isn't hard at all, it's kind of simple (it is nothing like the description above!.!.!.i dont have a clue what he's talking about!.!.!.it sounds like he's making it more complicated than it has to be) after you take the 11 pictures (preferably take the pictures with a solid colored background!), create a new blank file (really big!) in photoshop, use the paint bucket to make it grey!. open your first image with the grey file still there, use the lasso tool to cut presicely all around yourself!. (this is why a solid colored background would be best!) if your background is really solid, and contrasting from yourself you can use the "magnetic lasso'' and it should do a good job of cutting yourself out without having alot of work to do afterwards cleaning it up!. once you have traced all around yourself and connected it, then just use the cross arrows button to drag yourself out of the original picture and placing yourself onto the grey file!. :) do this for all 11 pictures!. just use the lasso (polygonal or preferably magnetic, if it works well) move your body out of the pics and onto the grey file in the order you want them!. :) hopefully that made sense!. if you know pretty well how to use the lasso tool, then you will know what i'm talking about and will do just fine with it!.!.!.because that's really the only skill needed to do this!. you just have to be patient and do it neatly so it will look nice :) good luck :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
I will assume you have *some* knowledge of Photoshop, because otherwise, no one can teach you here and now how to totally use a program in which college couses are taught!.
You will start with taking all the photos of yourself in different postions within the photo with the camera on a tripod!. Honestly, you are making this MUCH harder on yourself trying to do so many different characters and locations within one shot!. You are going to have to take ELEVEN separate photos!. It will be VERY difficult to put all that together easily!.
But anyway, after you have the 11 different shots, you begin with say the shot of "ganster you" on the left!. You will then take the shot of "nerd you" and drop that on top of the bottom photo!. This will create a new layer!. You will now only see the shot of the nerd!. You will take the eraser tool and erase away all of the nerd photo EXCEPT the nerd!. This will reveal all of the bottom photo!. So now you will have a photo with the gangser and nerd together!. You then take your next photo, the "popular you" and do the same thing!. And on and on and on!. You see how this will get difficult very quickly!. It can be done, but unless you are fairly profecient in Photoshop, you are going to have a hard time of it!. Just getting all the individual shots with youself placed precisely will be difficult!.
I suggest you do the photo with only three of you at the most!. This will be MUCH easier to set up in your initial shots!. With the 11 in your original idea, it is going to be nearly impossible to not have one of "you" overlapping into another one of "you"!.
