Question: Photography question!.!.help needed !?
For many years I have had a love for photography but never really pursued it and after entering a picture in a Photography contest, in which i used my Samsung digital camera i thought why not get another camera for photography alone!. I know that cameras out there cost a lot but i was looking for something that can use film and still be used as a digital camera!. I'm not sure if that's possible but my friend was telling me about a week ago!.And also what camera would you recommend for an amateur, i don't want to spent too much on a camera, the most im willing to spend is about $300!.thanks for your helpWww@QuestionHome@Com

Some medium format film cameras can also use what is called a digital back!. The film back is replaced with a digital unit!. However, these are serious, EXPENSIVE cameras!. The cameras cost several thousands of dollars, and the digital back can cost as much as $30,000!. So forget about that!.

With a budget of $300, I would suggest you get a good, used 35mm film camera!. You can get an excellent body and lens for your budget!. As an example, here is the listings at B-H:

On a decent point and shoot camera, you don't have to spend that much money now a day!. You can get this camera, it's a Nikon Coolpix S600, it's over Two hundred, and the images will be great!. We're talking point and shoots, there's not many differences between them:

Here are some pictures taken with this camera:

Save more money after this, so you can get yourself a Digital single lens reflex camera ( DSLR ) you'll love them!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The big problem is going to be the $300 budget!. Many pro end film SLR cameras have remobable backs!. That way, the shooter can change types of film in the middle of a roll, and back again, by carrying more than one back!.

I'm sure that they now have digital camera backs for those cameras!. That way, the shooter can switch from film to digital any time he wants!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Many medium and large format cameras can use film or digital backs!.!.!. they're great cameras, but prepare to spend atleast $10,000 on it!. They aren't as simple as SLR or DSLR either!.!.!. so you'll need to spend time learning how to use it properly as well!.

One that I've really enjoyed using at school is the Mamiya 645ZD

There is a medium format camera, i think its a Mamiya but not too sure, which has different backs to it both film and digital but its really expensive we're talking thousands and you wont even get a semi-decent slr for $300!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
