Don't try if you don't know what you are doing!. More people ruin their paintings when trying to restore them on their own!. Find a reputable restorer in your area and have them do it!. If you are gung-ho on doing it your self buy some cheap dirty oils at a flea market and practice practice practice!. Here is a good website that can tell you how to do it!. http://www!.restoration-advice!.org/Pages/!.!.!. I really suggest a professional restorer!. If the painting is valuable you should have it professionally cleaned and restored (if needed)!. Don’t do it yourself because you could damage it beyond repair and ruin it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
