Question: Have you had to pass up a “Picture perfect moment” because you didn’t have your camera!?
I took my dog for a walk and on the picket fence next to my house sat a mama turkey with her 7 babies!. It was adorable! A once in a lifetime picture and I didn’t have my camera!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. Actually I had my camera but couldn't turn around in time!. The situation was a pair of phone booths and in each one was a person talking on the phone!. What made it interesting was the fact that both people were leaning towards each other as they were talking!. By the time I was able to turn around and go back one of them had shifted away from the other!.

I still think about that even though it happened several years agon!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unfortunately, yes!. But I will try to not hold on to it forever, it's not as if there isn't a possibility of happening again!.
I was in school early, like, 6:00, and the sun was already out like it was mid-day, and there was a light rain!. I looked out the window and I can see the droplets of rain and what made it absolutely picture perfect was how the rain captured the rays of the sun(it wasn't a cloudy morning); they were like crystals or diamonds and I wanted to cry because it was so beautiful and wanted it to last forever!.
I stared at it the whole time until the rain stopped, it's sad that I won't be able to share something so beautiful, but, I have my memories, and the hope that I will be able to see that breath-taking view again in my life and have a camera with me!. :DWww@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, this happens to every photographer, whether they are just hobbyists, or seasoned professionals!. Personally, this happens to me all of the time!. I'm in a restaurant, and the food comes, it's presented so decoratively, would have made a lovely shot, but don't have my camera!. A cute little lizard on a palm tree, no camera again!. I live in the Bahamas, and it's a very scenic place, and i don't always lug around my Three pound Digital SLR camera- i wish i did though!. It's so large that i can't fit it in my bag, so it's very inconvenient!. This happens to everyone!. There's not much photographers can do about this, they can't always have a camera!.

Sometimes, we just have to appreciate life through our eyes!. Would have made a lovely photograph, but that doesn't mean we should not appreciate it!. I'm always missing Picture Perfect moments!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hasn't everyone missed a "picture perfect moment"!. They are surrounding us all the time and nobody always has their camera, i seriously get what you mean!. It sucks when that happens!! That turkey picture sounds like a really cute picture!. This could be a reason why phones put cameras on them, because nobody wants to carry huge cameras everywhere!. Then if you have your phone you dont miss the moment!. Next time you see a turkey, take a picture! And dont forget your camera to walk your dog tommmorow!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I so know what you mean!
I use to have my camera with me all the time, and i took pictures of anything and everything everywhere!. especially the sunset!

but everytime I forget my camera for one day, and see something amazing, my heart drops!
but then, I'll always have it as a memory, so I guess that makes up for it, right !? =]]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sigh!.!.!.yes!.

I took my kids to the pumpkin patch on a field trip with their playgroup!. The pumpkin patch was more than a 'patch'!.!.!.it was a FIELD!. With THOUSANDS of pumpkins!.

Silly thing is, I HAD my camera!.!.!.but I forgot to charge the batteries the day before!.!.!.and the camera died on the hay ride down to the pumpkins!. UGH!.

What a dissapointment that was!. It was a great day for portaits too! Overcast, perfect lighting!. I could have got some great shots of the kids amoungst all those pumpkins!.

I missed a real National Geographic moment once!. It was two lizards fighting and they were biting each other on the mouth!. One had the other's top jaw and snout while the other had his lower jaw and chin!. They looked like tiny dinosaurs fighting to the death! Www@QuestionHome@Com

In August, I sat in the third row, center, for a small-venue show of my favorite band for the last 22 years (the reunited Crowded House)!. Everyone had cameras, and the band didn't care!. Did I have mine!? Nope!. Boo!Www@QuestionHome@Com
