In relation to his life and work, Its a question we can not really answer!. We know only what they have left behind and we look at them in comparison to cultures that are still existing!. Thus making us look into it in an opinionated stance which for all we know, could be reading everything wrong!.

Speaking as another artist though, Art is nothing more than a universal truth!.

a universal language so beautiful that even in its most simple form can convey the message through!. Never right and never wrong, it can convey thoughts, feelings, truth, imagination, visible and invisible matters, and so on!.

Science viewed the hand stenciled in a cave and "tried" to tell when it was made!. The faithful looked and saw a mark of spiritual value!.

a million may be said about that single mark, and a million times it may be all wrong!.

if u want the very basics, the cave artist had to make his own paint brushes, paint and all the other things he would need to create a picture!. then he would have to find or make a smooth rock surface and clean it!. modern people go to wal mart and let someone else worry about the how to's!. if u r talking the actual art!. some of it is child like stick figures and some rather good!. so there is no real difference tween the two!. an accomplished cave person would probably be a mediocher artist in modern times, only because art has developed with the years as the cave person has not!. is this the angle u wanted!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
