Question: Can we expect B&W film to be produced by eastern bloc countries for decades to come!?

I would think so!. Efke still makes 127 film and I believe it is made in the Czech Republic!. As the other guy said if there is demand there will be supply somewhere!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It seems that whilst many are sticking to digital or moving across to digital the younger generation wants to be able to say I processed this film myself!. I find I have more pride for the photographs I have processed than those which have been shop processed, and it's more fun!.

Even some of the older people who thought they would never want to go back to film are going back!. People want to keep this medium alive!. Glass plates stopped being used by the masses years ago but you still see the odd people using them!. It's the joy of nostalgia and keeping something very much alive!.

Whilst people continue to use it, producers will continue to make it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Where their is supply there is always a demand otherwise they will stop producing, if your talking about lomography and things in the that way, then dont fret it is a niche photography market and they will always make them for the art students Www@QuestionHome@Com
