Canon Xsi vs nikon d90?

Question: Canon Xsi vs nikon d90!?

should i invest in the canon rebel xsi or the nikon d90!? i am aware that the nikon has more megapixels and can shoot more frames per second, but from personal experience, what do you enjoy more!? i plan on shooting portraits, action, macro, and possibly shots with bad lighting!. thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

So are you just starting out and have no lenses of either brand!? In that case, I would vote for the Nikon, only because it is the newest!. Canon is great stuff too, I have shot it for years, but the new Nikon will beat the old, (in digital terms), Canon!.

You must remember that digital is a never ending dog chasing it's own tail!. You buy the Nikon, in a few months Canon will have something better, then Nikon will counter that, then Canon will counter that!.!.!.!. and on and on ad nauseum!.

Just get the best body out there for now, and invest in the best lenses!. Do not fall for the hype that you have to "upgrade" your camera every year or two!. That is total BS!. The manufacturers want to keep sellling cameras, and they keep finding plenty of suckers to keep buying them, (when in most cases they cannot even properly use their "old" model)!.
