I am guessing you are talking about oil paints!. You can make your own and they will be free of pollutants!. Myself, I am kind of lazy but is you are up for it, here are some steps:
Place 3 to 5 tbsp!. of linseed oil into a bowl, Choose a color and add the pigment, a little at a time, until a doughy paste begins to form!. Mix well with a spatula!. Add powdered pigment until you obtain the depth of color that you desire!. Mix thoroughly to develop the color well!. Add licensed oil, a little at a time, until the doughy mixture becomes smooth and creamy!. Continue mixing!. Add solvent slowly and gradually until you obtain the proper consistency!.
