Question: How to draw really good!?
I might consider taking art lessons, so don't tell me that!. Is there any guides out there that can help my drawing skills!? If so, post them, please, and if you can draw well, share how you can draw well!. Did you practice, did it come to naturally, or did you take lessons, etc!?!. Thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey, i'm an artist as well!.!.!. not good not bad!.!.

Art is practically music except with colors!.!. Art can also express your emotions!.!. Just Doodle etc!.!. Learn to Shade, the Color Spectrum, etc!.
Then you will build ideas!.

You can take art lessons it'll be better, so you may learn about the colors, shading, color spectrum, different types of art!.

But for practice just Doodle!. When your Teachers are doing boring stuff etc, get a piece of paper or blank white spot and just draw whats on your mind!.!.!. For example with me i love drawing anime!.!. It's what i do!. Hope this helped x']Www@QuestionHome@Com

practice makes perfect!. seriously, art classes are a great idea! one summer i took a 2 week program, major improvment!. try to draw everyday, and always mark the date on your artwork so you can see how much you improve over time!. also, take a look at other artists work!. maybe they draw eyes a certain way you don't and may want to try it their way!. art is something that you can ALWAYS get better at!. it doesn't matter if your 12 or 82 all it takes is patience and confidence!.!.!.and a steady hand (:Www@QuestionHome@Com

boo hoo hoo!.!.!. do you know how many times questions like these have been asked!.!.!. I'm grumbling!.!.!. boo hoo!.!.!.

Okay, my life story!.

I don't remember when I started to draw, but it was probably around the 1st grade!. I drew because in elementary school, drawing is a part of the curriculum!. So I drew!. I guess I must've drew better than others, because I got compliments!. By the 4th grade getting compliments became a part of the reason for my drawing as I did-- perhaps, perhaps not!. Maybe I just didn't mind drawing (read: I liked it)!. I didn't get any lessons, from anybody!.!.!. no critiques or anything, nothing significant!.!.!. but I did get practice!. I doodled and stuff!. In Middle school I took an art class, but it must not have taught me anything, because I don't remember learning anything, or doing anything other than drawing Cheez-it boxes and cans-- this is called drawing still-lifes, kids!. Oh, maybe she did teach to, when using colored pencils, to mix different colors and to color in one direction!. O!.O Well, after middle school and that one time!.!.!. I didn't take any more art classes in school!. But I'm pretty much at level with people who have, or at least the average kid!. Umm!.!.!. I did take an art class out of school!. There were like 10 sessions, and you had to pay $10 each course, and got lessons from a Professional artist (he goes to my church)!. Well, we just drew still-lifes there!.!.!. I didn't learn that much besides pointers on my bad habits! Haha, maybe it was worth it!. He taught to sketch everything so that they are in-frame (of the paper)!. He also said not to hunch over the paper, or to sit too close to your drawing!.!.!. because you tend to get more involved in detail than the whole paper, and more involved in perfecting your 'drawing' than getting a good look at the model!. also, we were on a time limit-- during one sitting, we had one drawing to complete, and it was a one time offer!. So that taught us, again, to sketch more the composition than getting involved in detail!. And, because we were using graphite (like a big pencil without the wood covering), and everytime he came he nonchalantly said, "oh, I forgot the eraser", we learned to focusing on more the set up of our drawing (composition), positioning it right, without getting caught up in making it perfect!.!.!. and also with an eraser, you'd be spending half the time drawing, half the time erasing, and simply that's not very efficient or useful-- if you keep your lines there, you can see your mistakes and they act as a guide to get it right!. Plus, you might decide later on that your initial sketch did work, and go off that!.!.
Well I guess I did learn huh!.!.!. oh dear!.

Um, well, so I guess I'm saying, you could learn from art lessons, but don't expect to learn everything about art!.!.!. you can learn some useful stuff, to be sure, and perhaps its just what you need, but!.!. there's a lot of different ways of drawing well!.!.!. and some ways you'll have to learn on your own!.!.!. you can find art anywhere, and not only in classes!.!.!. sometimes the things you learn outside of classes will be of more value to you, sometimes it won't!. I guess it depends on where you're at, and how receiving you are to lessons!.!.!.

A part of drawing is connecting with your!.!.!. please forgive my use of the word, but, connecting with your Soul, and yourself!.!.!. and that's something you can't be taught I think!.!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
