Environmental Self Photography?

Question: Environmental Self Photography!?

In my digital photo class we have to take 20 picture of our self (using a timer) in different environments!. The pictures have to be at least waist up, and i should be doing something!. Any Ideas!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

I had to do this when I took photo!. Heck, I think it might be a cool personal project to undertake!.

Anyways, what I did was take my camera and tripod along to places I usually go during the day and pretended I was doing whatever I did there!. I took one of myself "sleeping" in bed in my pjs, one getting into my car for work, one at work!.!.!.!.etc!. The trick is to make them interesting!. Find a fun angle, or use creative focusing to make the image interesting!.

For example for my sleeping one I didn't just take a picture of me laying on the bed, I set my tripod at the foot of my bed and shot at f2!.8 or so, focusing on my foot and having my upper body out of focus!. Stuff like that!.

When I first thought of it I wasn't sure how it was gonna turn out but put all together I think it told a really cool story!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

it's a self-portrait so they should reflect you and what you like to do!. I read so I would have a book in one, some type of camera gear in the other, my imagination just runs wild with this!. Heck, you could even be showering!. Don't over think it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
