If you want, you can e-mail me the pic and I can do that!. Send me a message if you want me to and I'll reply with my e-mail address!. Just tell me what you want to keep in color!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Photobucket!.com

upload the pic
edit photo
go to effects and choose greyscale
click advanced options
where it says "apply to" on the right of the pic choose "painted region"

If it is a small area that you want keep in color just use the GREY on that are, then INVERT

if you mess up and go out of line you can erase by clicking "original" and erasing the color (doesn't erase pic, don't worry), then click back to effect after (these options are still to the right of the picture, and behind the box is a zoom option, just drag the box over)

its so easy once you do it

i've never used that program before, but you can do that with paint!. the resolution doesn't come out as good, and it's a little tricky but it goes like this!.
1!.Open the picture in the microsoft photo editor and change the photo to black and white!. Save it (keep a copy of the color version!. you may also have to resize the image for it to fit in paint, if you resize, make sure that both of them are the same size)
2!.Open the color picture in paint!.
3!.Choose the 'free-form select' tool, its at the top left corner right under the word file!.
4!.With this tool select the part that you want to stay in color (this is where it's tricky because you have to select it in one continuous stroke!.)
5!.Once selected press ctrl+c to copy the object!.
6!.Now open the black and white picture in a new doc on paint!. (its going to ask you about saving changes to the colored version, just hit yes!.)
7!. With the black and white version open, hit ctrl+v and that should bring up the object you copied from the colored version!.
8!. There is going to be a white box around it, on the left of the screen where all the tools are located, there will be two boxes underneath the tools!. They both have shapes inside of them, click the bottom one and the white box should go away!.
9!.Now align it with the other picture and wah lah!
