Why does everyone reveal their age!?!.!.!. it's not important and has nothing to do with the critique!.

I'm critiquing a photo!.!.!. not a child's photo or a pro's photo!.!.!. I don't care who you are, what you are, how many years you've been doing it or even what kind of equipment you used!. It's about the image,!.!.!. right!?

Now!.!.!. my critique: I like it!.!.!. my first impression was a simple, "Nice"!. Anything that stimulates response from a viewer is successful right off the bat and handprint in sand has that kind of response!.

I like the fact that the interest is not in the center but actually off to one side!.!.!. crisp, sharp, perfectly composed and exposed!. The fact that it is the hand of youth on a timeless object is symbolic to me so it is telling me a story about youth and the timelessness of youth!.!.!. it's impact on eternity!.

Everyone should see this!.!.!. it's that good!.

You should print it and frame it!.!.!. maybe hang it in your bathroom so anyone who goes there can contemplate on it!.!.!. I'm not saying it belongs in the bathroom but I know EVERYONE goes there so it would be seen!.

Honestly there's nothing really special about this image!. It just seems like a snaphot of a handprint in the sand!. The exposure's too light, there's not enough contrast or saturation, and it probably would look 10 times better in a warm-toned black and white!.

I DO see effort here though, and this is a good thing!. You are only 15, you have a long time ahead of you to learn the specifics of the craft!. The best advice I have for you is to shoot, shoot and when you think you've shot enough, do it some more!. Only through practice will you be able to hone your vision and develop your own style!. Good luck! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Really,I like more that one with the lamp!.
You have some nerve !
You minimize the concept by making photos!.And that's a good start!.
You must go on!Www@QuestionHome@Com
