I'm an amateur photographer, and one day I'll spoil myself and buy Photoshop!.!.!.but until then, I use Picasa 3!. You can download it from Google!. Has some great tools considering it's free!
Try any local community centers for photography classes!. You could also check out any local collages that may provide part time classes for all age groups!.

Its a classic beginners mistake and a rule that can be broken, but the best position for the camera is at the models eye level, camera above model - camera dominant, camera below model - model dominant, neither look particularly good!. For all your shots you've just stood there and took them, experiment a lot more with moving your camera's viewpoint!. Still not bad for 14, keep at it you'll get there!.
