Question: Where can I send my digital photos to get them to look really professionally printed!?
Have some great photos of my girls and want to get them instead of school pics this year (mine were much better)!. I want that 'professional' type paper and processing!. Where online can I just upload them and not spend a fortune!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just so you will know it is THE place for online printing, I also vote for Mpix!. I have used them for years!. You can't get any better, and price is reasonable!. A little tech info on them!. They are a division of Millers Lab, which is the oldest photo lab in the country, !.!.!. been in business for something like 70 years I think!. Anyway, Mpix was established with the emergence of digital, and they have made a name for themselves as the best printing service out there, catering to the pro and amateur alike!. They use Durst Laser printers to expose the Kodak E surface paper for beautiful, archival prints!.

REAL HUMAN BEINGS will inspect and color adjust each photo if you want, or you can select for them not to if you use a calibrated monitor and know your color is correct!.

Mpix is NOT just a bunch of careless people running a machine!. It IS far beyond the typical online lab, and better than many you will find by any other means!.

Take my word for it, I've tried plenty, and the search ended with Mpix!.

Well first of all, all the paper used in major labs is "professional"!.

Second IF there were a such alternative paper, you would pay MORE for it, so it could cost a relative fortune !.!.!.

The deal with getting excellent prints all has to do with the person who prints the photo!. This is when it becomes important that you physically take the image file or negative into the lab and have a talk with the printer!. Sending an image file off to a lab is only asking for a machine print and any lab can do that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like winkflash for my quality at a lower cost - if you choose their matte finish option at checkout, the photos are much nicer!. You can try them for FREE!.!.!.they offer 50 free 4x6 prints on your first order, so it's worth it just to try them!. Their prints usually range from 6-8c each, so they aren't pricey!. If you have the extra to spend and aren't happy w/ them, you can always try mpix!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think MPIX needs to start re-imbursing us for all the advertising!

Not only is their quality very good, but their wallets will blend in (same size) with those given by the school photographer - which to a high schooler is an important thing!. They have die cut (rounded) corners which look much better than what you might get from the typical one hour joint!.

Mpix!. http://www!.mpix!.com

You want the regular "E-Surface" paper, unless you want to get into some specialty items!. E-Surface is the "pro" paper with a luster finish!.
