A friend of mine told me about redbubble!.com I'd love to try it, but I have a few questions first!. Are my photos even good enough to sell!? http://www!.flickr!.com/photos/frenchadmir!.!.!. Is redbubble a reliable site!? How much can I expect to make!? Are there any other good sites to sell your photography on!?
Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: definitely yes! nice pictures i've heard many people using redbubble so it should be reliable but can't tell for sure since i never used it but besides redbubble, you may sell pictures online at microstock agencies as royalty free I'm selling at most of those listed here: http://www!.microstockphoto!.co!.uk and although prices for each picture are very low, each photo sells many many times and earnings are quite good (about $500/month with a few hundred pictures online) so please don't feel offended to sell your work at such a low price since in microstock it's quantity that counts all agencies will pay you with paypal or moneybookers (at your choice); from there, you can even withdraw your money to your bank account or credit card shutterstock is my best seller; there's an initial test to pass but it's really worth it fotolia is my second best the other ones are selling less for me note: pictures with recognisable people require a model release signed by them, and pictures with logos (such as your coke can) can't be sold - all your other pictures are okWww@QuestionHome@Com Pink commented on a couple of your images, you have a pleasing style and show sensitivity!.!. You have some pleasing images and pink is drawn to them!. Pink would like to see you plan your shots more, develop ideas and improve the shoot more than use PS to do this!. The tools are camera, difussers, reflectors as basic then onwards, its a story about light and using and abusing and stroking it, by using tools to create visions!. The other type is recording!. Learn about lighting, the flower image is very pleasing!. If you got 2 flowers took them home, painted a BG or used a negitive space with some light creation it could be very very brilliant!. Anyway Pink is to tired to make sence!. Sorry!. Put some images on redbubble, read the details about min sales and how much et cetera first!. You might get a few sales but not enough to retire on!. I think you have the skills to produce images that will sell, you have some great images but I think you need to have a direction in your photography!. you have to be as good at marketing as you are at photography!. best place to start is with a subject you are interested in!. if it is pets for an example fined magazines that use pet images look at the hype of images they want and tailor you work to fit the magazine!. this will work for any type of magazine work!. send a low res cd with an intro letter out to the mag do this for as many mags as you can if your work is in line with what they want they will be interested Good luck, keep up the great work http://tech!.groups!.yahoo!.com/group/selli!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I would say yes, but cover your own butt, I just saw on the TV where companies are going to sites like flickr and using people's picture with out asking them!. http://www!.flickr!.com/groups/d300fun/dis!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Yes redbubble is a reliable site but you will not make much!.
