Question: Is it ok if i do a drawing with water solable graphite with out using water!?

as an artist, i feel it is our duty to exploit artistic material!. yes, do a drawing without water!

i tend to seal all my graphite drawings as soon as i am finished with them, unless they are already sold and/or going to the frame shop right away!. graphite smears, and there are some good re-workable sealers out there!.

different artists feel differently about sealing work!. i seal graphite and charcoal, and seldom seal my pastel work!. you will have to experiment and find out where your comfort levels are!.
