Question: For abstract painters, I need your advice!?
I am wanting to paint in acrylic a large canvas for a wall in my house!. I want it to reflect a beach that I love to visit on the coast as well as the surrounding bushland!. I live in Australia!. I don't expect the beach to be so literal as such, but to contain elements of the area via colour, shape, texture etc!. I haven't painted for 10 years and even then I focused on "graphic" shapes in my pieces (Graphic design kills creativity)!. Anyway, how should I approach this!? Are there any painters you can think of that I can use as a reference in regards to style!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

with you graphic skills apply those as well to design layout of scenery on canvas, in a way the technical aspect is adding to abstract, using shape and lines over actual seascape, also apply design to you room, whether sharp or curved to blend in with furniture,
