Question: Your thoughts on FujiFilm cameras/lenses/quality!?
I'm looking at this: http://www!.refurbdepot!.com/productdetail!.!.!.

I'm upgrading from my point and shoot but I'm not sure if I'm ready for an SLR yet!. This is pretty great considering it has a few SLR features like aperture and shutter speed controls without the big price tag of an SLR!. BUT how's the lens!? Am I going to get $50 P&S quality photos or are the FujiFilm lenses decent!?

Thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Fuji has always made some of the best lenses available!. Especially on their medium format rangefinders!. Just about everything produced by Fuji is top-notch!.

Unfortunately, with that particular camera, you are asking it to do way too much in such a small package!. DPReview only gave it a 7!.0 in image quality!.

CNET says this, "The bad: Sluggish performance; mediocre image quality; no RAW capture!." Mediocre image quality! That is a very telling statement!.

Image quality is everything!.

I would pass on this camera if I were you!.

Fuji is famous for their film (the old fashioned type)!. When digital stuff came out, they started making cameras!. I'd stick to Canon, Nikon, Olympus, etc!.

You could also go to a camera store that sells previously owned cameras!. Since you are not ready for a digital, you can get a good deal!. Non-digitals are not worth as much!. Or you may decide to get a used digital!.

I think you should get an SLR, even if it is a film camera!. And make sure it has automatic exposure, unless you really want to learn F-stops and all that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Fuji Film is unfortunately not an dslr camera its more of an fatter pocket camera the lens goes in and out people have alot of problems with the lens breaking getting jammed i say pass Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is an absolutely wonderful camera!. You should definately get it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
