Question: A year or so ago I went to what I think was the MET and I saw this statue!.!.!.!?
It was beautiful, it was black and it featured a girl huddled into a what looked like a blanket or cloak, part of it was over her head!. I think it was a french statue!.

I cannot remember the artist or the name of the sculpture, but I'd really like to know what it is!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know if this is it, but it is a statue of a woman wrapped in what appears to be a long scarf!. It is (at least this one is) greek!. It is called Veiled and Masked Dancer!. it is done of bronze!. and is at the Met!.
It is also known as the "Baker dancer" this is from the 3rd or 4th century!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
