8!.3 million people visited in 2006,
up from 7!.5 million in 2005

According to this CBS news story ( http://www!.cbsnews!.com/stories/2006/01/0!.!.!. )

6!.7 people million people visited in 2004 (in part because of the Da Vinci Code movie)
