Question: How to make one thing in a picture colored and the rest black and white!?

how do i make everything in the photo black and white and one thing colored!.i dont have photoshop and i would really appreciate if you could make this process as simple as possible!.

For free, you might check out picnik!.com which is an online photo editing site!. Cheap or free, you might see if you can download Photoshop Elements which is a very light version of Photoshop!. Of course Photoshop is the best option!. You simply duplicate the layer, make the top layer desaturated (image mode menu) and then put a layering mask on the top layer!. One the mask, use the paint brush tool to "reveal" the color image below of the part you want in color!. You may be able to do this in elements, but I'm not positive!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
