If you wanna be a game designer!.!.!.You need to be versed in:

Programing as in C+ or C++

Adobe Photo shop

3D imaging software such as maya

That's all I can remember off the top of my head

there's a lot you need to do to become a game designer
some will argue that what i have said is wrong
BUT those are a few of the things you need to know to be a GOOD game designer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
