How come people are mostly drawing anime?

Question: How come people are mostly drawing anime!?

Most people I know draw anime!. I'm not really into anime all that much!. I'm into dragons and knights and animals such as tigers, lions, cats, puppies ect!.!.
I also draw alot of realistic things, but everwhere I go I only see anime!.

Anime the easiest style to emulate, especially for younger teens, and it's the most easily defined style in this particular time period!. There is no other distinctive style of animation, other than the extremely generic "3d animation" which encompasses several different styles!.

Anime is also the most used style in cartoons with higher quality story-lines!. Cartoons that are geared towards adults, with more serious themes are almost guaranteed to be anime, because it's not currently a part of the US culture to create cartoons for adult audiences!. Therefore, people often emotionally connect with the anime style more deeply than with other styles, because it provides a much wider emotional base than Disney or Pixar or Dreamworks can provide!.

It is the popular trend!. Graphic novels started out in Asia and appeal to preteens, teens and adults!. That's a huge audience!.

I've noticed that too!.
But everyone has their own opinions!.
And anime is easier to draw than humans, animals, etc!.

Cause anime is coooool :P

I guess it's a little easier because it's much more angular than drawing things realistically!? more straight lines and cute faces!
