Horseman 612 with 90mm lens or Noblex 150UX!. Which would you buy first and why!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Honestly if it were between the two I would have to go for the Horseman 612!. It has shift movements, unlike the Noblex which put it in a class of its own and make it a great portable camera for shooting architectural subjects as well as anything else that you are shooting that requires correction for parallax!. However, from the reviews I have read about the Horeseman is that if you do shoot with the 6x9 back there is light falloff!.
Personally although I think this is a great camera you should look at some other medium format options like the Arca Swiss F line!. It has a lot of movements, in fact it is just a mini view camera, yet can fit in a backpack and is just a lot more versatile!. It doesn't have the light fall off like the Horseman!. I personally use a Linhof Technikardan 45S and I love it, but there is a medium format equivalent, the Technikardan 45s which in many ways is like the Arca Swiss, just it has a more interesting way of folding, but again portable!.
I would also suggest taking a look at a used Hasselblad Arcbody, it doesn't have as much movements as the Linhof or the Arca Swiss, but it is very portable and uses Rodenstock lensesWww@QuestionHome@Com

I am not familiar with the specific models you mention, but this I do know; by medium format specs, 90mm is a normal focal length while 150mm is almost 2x telephoto, so if the Noblex 150UX is a 150mm lens, then the 90mm is preferable!. If you can only have one lens with a camera, it must either be a normal focal length or a zoom from wide to tele including normal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It is rather nice to read comments about a camera that they know nothing about!. Both of these cameras are panoramic cameras, they are not standard "medium format - 6x6, 645, 67!." They are, therefore, special purpose cameras!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually, neither!. If I was going to spend that kind of money I think a Hasselblad would be my first choice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
