Me!?it depends really,

I most of the time I spend far more time on the shoot/lighting, the post takes a few minutes if the shot is good enough!.

Then again if i'm doing salt printing or cyanotypes then i spend alot more on the printing than the shot,

Sometimes I do like to play a bit though!. it all depends, i do prefer to be camera and lights in hand to the mouse and keyboard or the darkroom even

If you mean per individual picture, obviously we all spend more time in Photoshop (or similar program), because the shot takes an instant and ANY processing - even simply printing - takes longer!.

You can't count on fixing mistakes, as you have said yourself so many times!. But, don't we all add a bit of levels adjustment or tweak the sharpness of even the "perfect" shots!? At least 90% of them, I'd say!. It takes half a minutes to even decide if something needs tweaking, let alone doing it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I spend much more time taking the pictures!. If I decide to edit them, I just do a simple crop and increase the contrast a little, which takes about a minute!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I adhere to the old adage "Get it right in the camera!."

Please go to http://www!.shutterbug!.com and type 'get it right in the camera' in the Search box!. You'll pull up an article "Get It Right!.!.!. In the Camera!.!.!." by Steve Bedell!. Well worth reading IMO!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I try to balance the two!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
