The lights are pure garbage!. Please stay clear of no name brands which give you no recourse once they breakdown!. Then your money is in the trash!. If you are serious, start with one Alien Bee!.!.the best one you can afford and then build your system as you go!. You will only frustrate yourself with crappy lights!.

That's pretty cheap for what you're getting, so I wouldn't expect great quality!. In addition, 540 watt-seconds isn't a lot of light, but it should be adequate for most subjects, if you can shoot at larger apertures!. My only concern is that it's a lot of "stuff" unless you already know lighting!. Most pros recommend buying one light with a modifier or two -- say an umbrella and/or reflectors -- then learning to use them!. You'll know when you need more lights!. This set may be a lot of oranges to juggle at once, and be frustrating!. On the other hand, you don't have to use the whole kit, all at once -- i wouldn't!. But yeah, it's okay!. When you get rich, but a more powerful and sturdier brand!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
