Question: How could I get my name or something like that in the EXIF data of a photo!?
I saw a photo on Flickr's Explore this morning - in the EXIF data was a "Copyright somebody-or-other, 2008!." Because of this, one could tell that the person who uploaded the photo to Flickr was obviously not the person who took the photo (or owned the camera, I guess)!.

While I doubt anyone is stealing my photos, I still like to post them online and I'd like to be able to defend myself in case someone claims one of my photos is theirs!.

So, how can I get something like this in the EXIF data of my photos!? Is it a setting on my camera, or do I add it in somehow on my computer, or what!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Photoshop Elements is a wonderful version of Photoshop!. It has all most people need for photo editing, and costs a bunch less!. Anyway, when I upload my photos using Elements, there's an option to put that information in automatically!.

But there is a way to put the information in without going through another program!. Right click on the image, and go to properties, then advanced, then details!. Scroll down and you will find where you can put the information in yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can add things like that in photoshop, with specialized programs, and by directly edting the EXIF data!. also, many cameras have a setting hiding deep in the menus that will allow you to put something, such as your name or initials, into the EXIF!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

first not all cameras include exif data!. and not all photo editing software can edit exif data!.!.!.

saying that fastone image viewer can, and its a free prog and free download!.!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
