Question: What settings do I want to use!?
Exposure Metering:
Multi - Pattern
Center - Weight
Spot
Can someone explain what these mean and which one do I want to use for general photography!?!?

AF Zone:

it depends what kind of pictures you're taking!. check out this site for exposure metering explained!.

af zone is the area where your camera will auto-focus!. you can change it so it focuses on the centre all the time or on the right all the time etc or so that it just chooses where it thinks you want to focus automatically (not very reliable generally),

Metering is based upon the experience of the photographer more than anything else!.

If you have not been using a 35 mm SLR with a center weighted meter for the past 10 or 15 years, then use the Matrix or Multi-pattern setting!. If you have advanced skills at using a hand held spot meter, then you can use the spot meter the same way you did the hand held!.

I prefer using the selectable zone when using autofocus!. Then the exposure and focus are in the same region of the image frame!.

There really is not such thing as "general" photography !.!.!. The composition, focus point and exposure is completely dependent upon the subject and lens selectionWww@QuestionHome@Com
