Question: Looking different in a mirror to a photo!?
Does anyone find that they look different when looking in the mirror compared to looking at a photo!? Is this what other people see you as or is it because when we look at photos they are different because of no facial movement!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
yeah!.in the mirror you are seeing yourself as you are,but in photos you see a diffrent person!.in the mirror you are looking at you in the present which means right now!.but in photos you,re looking at a picture that was taken in the past!.there is a big diffrence in what you ae than what you seeWww@QuestionHome@Com

Remember when you are looking in the mirror you are looking at your face reversed!.
also how you look in photos depend on the light, the moment,good/bad hair days, what you were doing, where you were, your health, all sorts of different things!.

Psychology studies show that people prefer reversed images of themselves, because that's what you are used to seeing everyday in the mirror!.
And yes!. people prefer symmetrical faces!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The reason is this:
Very few people have perfectly symmetrical faces, and that is fine!.
We just accept what we see and never think about it, it just looks normal!.

Since YOU normally only see yourself in the mirror, THAT is what looks normal to you!. When you see yourself the way others are used to seeing you (i!.e!. in a photo), your face is mirror reversed, something you're not used to, therefore you notice the difference!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
