Use an acrylic medium!. It is used for acrylic painting (making paints heavier/thicker, or for glazes) and also as a collage adhesive!. I don't like to use it for collages on a paper surface, but have had success using it for collage on canvas!. I believe it comes in gloss, semi-gloss, and matte, and as either liquid (kind of a white glue consistency) or gel (which is thicker)!. Just make sure it's the kind that dries clear, rather than something like an acrylic medium modeling paste which dries opaque!. The fine arts supply section in stores like Michael's often have samples of how the product dries to show sheen and opacity!. Using an acrylic medium also means you can use your acrylic paints on your collage without affecting adhesion like you might with regular glue!. The website below only talks about one brand, but there are others!. Have fun! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's the same kind of glue you use in paper mache!. Like white glue, but a little more watery!. I always use a store brand called Mod Podge, but you can probably make it by adding water to glue!. I think it's 2 parts glue to 1 part water!. Use it to attach the pieces, and go over the whole thing with it too!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
