Question: What should my husband and I wear for beach photoshoot!?

A friend of ours is a photographer and is using my husband and I as models for a couples shoot on the beach this weekend!. I have ideas of what to wear, and we have done it before, but wanted to see anyone else's insights if you have had this shoot done, or are a photographer and have a favorite!. We don't have to match, just compliment eachother!. We live in SoCal, so it will be warm!.

Stay away from white, as it will probably create problems with blown out highlights!. Stay away from stripes, they can look weird in photos!.

Have a few outfits ready - not identical, but in the same family of color and style, e!.g!. both of you in various shades of blue, or in earth tones!.

Unless your figures, skin and tans are totally flawless, you're better off with sleeves rather than sleeveless!.

Use hats only if your photographer is ready with fill flash and/or reflectors, otherwise you'll make the shadows worse!.

Bring some fun props like a giant beachball, some chairs, a frisbee, etc!.

I think pastel colors look great on the beach!. Especially if you have warm light!. A photographer friend of mine did a photo shoot of a family on the beach and all the girls wore a pastel pink and the boys blue!. It created a really neat warm comfortable vibe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
