Question: What's a good way to start my drawing hobby!?
I'm always so giddy when I try out new things, but this time I want to start drawing again!. Back when I was in 5th grade I would draw for students (traditional art) of pictures that they brought in to school!.
I sadly stopped after moving, and lost my drawing talents!. I do not want to draw for commercial reasons, but to excel; draw pictures for people, and showcase them on a blog!.
I used to just use a #2 pencil, but I'm sure i'll need other things; books, traditional art supplies, a different type of paper!?
anything that'll get me on track, also available in easy places!.

Pencils 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B!. White eraser and a kneaded eraser!. blending stumps/ tortillons!. The best blending tool is just a tissue!. If you want to blend a large area near something that needs to remain white, tape it off or cover with tracing paper!. Books sometimes offer lots of fluff and no answers!. If you draw a smooth subject such as glass, use smooth paper!. If the subject is rough such as a tree, use paper with more tooth!. Your basically letting the paper do the work for you!. You can never lose your ability to draw!. Just buy a sketch book ( spiral bound) and start drawing!. use whatever medium you want pens, pencils,charcoal, experiment!. Soon you will discover what you really like!. I am an avid artist and have hundreds of dollars worth of art supplies and materials, I have accrued over the years!. My favorite, and simplest form of art is a "Pilot Precise V5 extra fine" Black pen and a sturdy spiral bound sketch book!. Have fun, if you take it to seriously you will let yourself down and stop creating again, ease back into it don't be frustrated- you will surprise yourself!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
