No you don't need qualifications!. It isn't hard to get started, buy a camera (I recommend the Canon HV20, its cheapish and good quality) and start shooting stuff!. Then put it up on youtube and enquire about entering some small film festivals!. If its good you'll get noticed!. Many movie directors, like Brett Ratner and John Singleton, began by shooting music videos so if you have some friends in a band see if you can shoot a vid for them!.

You could also enquire about film school or doing a practical media course!. As I've said qualifications aren't nessecary, but going on thsee courses will allow you to mix with people who have similar interests which might give you a leg up!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
