Question: M having a 7!.0 version of adobe photoshop!. i know how to work on this, But!?

wen i use layers i cant find the layer diplay window in which we can jump to previous layer etc, in my system!.!.!.in this way i cant create any image effect and plz tel me how to merge the two layers n see the effect!? I hope u understand my question Www@QuestionHome@Com

I haven't used ps7 in a while, but I'll give it a shot!. It sounds like you're Layers window was unchecked!. Try going to the Windows menu and click on Layers or make sure that its checked!. If it is checked then double check tabs on your existing windows to see if its just hidden behind something else!. If I understand your 2nd question correctly you want to merge 2 layers and keep the FX!. Is that correct!? If I remember correctly!.!.!.!. If the FX is on the top layer then just merge the two layers (select the top layer and press CTRL + E or Layers > Merge Down)!. If the FX is on the bottom layer and you want to avoid applying the FX to the merged object then create a layer below the FX layer (a blank layer)!. Link all 3 layers then Merge Down (see above)!.
