Question: Did I do a good job on this boys senior photo!?

My friend let me take pictures of him, and I wanted to know if I did a good job or not!. I've really wanted to take photography since this is my last year of high school, but I've never been able to!. How did I do!?

I'm putting together pictures to put in my graphic design college portfolio, do you think this might be a good shot to include!?

I don't think it's supposed to be the robe picture!.

That said, it's not a bad shot, framing wise, but technically it needs more work in post; the levels are off and too dark, and the color needs correction!.

Hey Hon keep going!. You did good you are a high school student not a professional!. Take this and all other shots that you take pride in and build your portfolio and when you take your classes you will replace certain ones as your skills develop!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

the color is off, might be the camera/editing!. Lighting is dull!.
I would have tilted the camera move, so his body was more towards a cornerWww@QuestionHome@Com

Part of the problem here is the eyes look dead!.!.!.like black slits!.!.!.no catch lights in them and the hair blends into the grass!. In other words very under exposed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like it! This is obviously not the drape photo which I think some people are confusing it with!. ;)
